Why should I cleanse?

Cleansing gives the body a break from solid, refined and processed foods. It helps eliminate toxins, aids digestion, and generally helps the body restore its natural balance. Regular juice cleanses help to heal, energise, cleanse, and invigorate the body, which support greater physical and mental wellbeing.

How long do Love2Juice juices last?

Our juices should be consumed within 72 hours of the time they are pressed and bottled.

Is there a particular order I should follow when drinking my juices?

It’s important to start your day with the alkaline water and end it with the soothing almond milk. The rest, you can consume in any order you like.

Can I continue taking supplements while cleansing?

We suggest you take a break from any supplements and just allow your body to focus on absorbing the nutrients from your juices.

What is 'cold-pressed juice'?

Our cold pressed juice are a delicious, highly nutritious and easily digestible elixir that we produce using a solid stainless steel juicer that presses and extracts vitamins, minerals and nutrients (basically every bit of goodness) from the food that it is pressing. This is done without any heat being applied, thus maintaining all of the goodness. Other juices contain more solids (pulp) and, therefore, the nutrients break down much faster than our delicious cold pressed juices.

Should I do a 3 or 5 day cleanse?

It’s entirely up to you. The longer you cleanse, the more benefits your body will reap. That said, if you’re new to cleansing, you may want to ease in gently. If in doubt, give us a call. We’ll be happy to guide you towards the right cleanse.

Can I eat food while cleansing?

To get the maximum benefit from your cleanse, we suggest you refrain from eating solid food altogether. Trust us! Your delicious, nutritious juices will sustain you!

Can I cleanse while pregnant or breast feeding?

Although we do not recommend a full juice cleanse at any point while pregnant or breastfeeding, by all means, incorporate our highly nutritious juices as part of your balanced diet.

Will cleansing help me lose weight?

The purpose of a cleanse is to eliminate toxins and restore the natural balance of your body. It is not a crash diet and is not intended to be a method of weight loss. That said, you may lose a little weight during your cleanse. Furthermore, regular cleansing can help eliminate bloating.

What if I have an illness or ongoing health condition?

If you have any existing health conditions or concerns, you should consult your medical practitioner before embarking on any cleanse.

Does cold-pressed juice contain fibre?

Cold-pressing juice removes the fibrous pulp. Although fibre is an important element of a healthy eating regime, it is important to remove it from your diet when cleansing so that vitamins and minerals can be more easily absorbed into your body.

Will I experience any side effects from my cleanse?

You may experience a slight headache due to the release of toxins in your body. You may also feel a little fatigued. Some people notice slight mood swings, too. This is all perfectly normal. If you experience any symptoms that concern you, we urge you contact our team. We’re here to support you.

Can I drink anything else while cleansing?

We recommend that you drink as much water as you can – ideally more than usual as the added intake of fluids will help reduce the risk of headaches while cleansing. Try hot water with lemon, cold water with cucumber, and antioxidant herbal teas. These will help to remove more toxins from your body, thereby elevating the benefits of your cleanse.

Can I exercise while cleansing?

Sweating will enhance your cleanse. Just be mindful, listen to your body. If your regular workout regime feels too much, take it down a notch!

How often can I cleanse?

Incorporating regular cleansing into your diet and lifestyle will certainly improve your wellbeing. As for how often you cleanse, it’s an individual choice. Listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
